2. Can I take a tour?

Certainly! You are invited to stop by to tour our facilities and meet our staff. You’ll see firsthand how we interact with our guests and how they socialize with each other. While we welcome walk-ins, to ensure your convenience, please call ahead.

3. Do you provide outdoor play areas?

Yes. Our facility features indoor and outdoor play areas for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Even puppies!

4. Do you accept puppies?

   Of course! eddieandbarkus welcomes all puppies of at least 16 weeks of age that have completed vaccinations, application and interview process.

Interview Process

1. What is the interview process?

   We have an easy application and interview process that all dogs must complete before they come to eddieandbarkus to ensure the safety of all of our guests.

2. Why do you require an interview?

   The interview process is all about safety. As a dog owner you have to be confident in knowing that your dog will be cared for and comfortable. During this process we’ll address your questions and concerns while making sure that your dog will enjoy his or her stay.

3. My dog goes to another daycare; do they still need the interview process?

   Yes. We want to know as much as possible about every dog so that we can provide the best care for each guest.

4. What if my dog doesn’t play well with others?

   All dogs are interviewed beforehand so that we can asses each dog individually.

Health and Wellness

1. My dog has health issues; can he/she still come?

   Our pre-vet and vet tech staff is capable of caring for and treating any dog that has passed our interview and evaluation process.

2. What do you do in case of illness or injury?

   In addition to our highly trained and experienced staff on hand, eddieandbarkus works closely with your veterinarian or Red River Animal Emergency Clinic when your vet may not be available.

3. What vaccinations are required?

   eddieandbarkus requires Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper vaccinations for every dog. These vaccinations must be documented by your veterinarian. Also, all guests must be spayed or neutered at 6 months.

4. Can you provide my dog his/her medications? Is there a charge?

   We will administer your dog’s medications for a $7.00 fee in compliance with your vets instructions.

Reservations

1. What do I need to make a reservation?

   You will need a credit card number along with current vaccinations, the application filled out, our policies and procedures signed, and the evaluation process completed.

Cancellations

1. What is your cancellation policy?

   You will need to cancel 48 hours prior to the reservation or your card will be charged a $50.00 fee.

Timing and What to Bring

1. What time should I drop off my dog for their hotel stay?

   We accept check-ins throughout weekdays until 7:00 PM, Saturdays 8:00 AM - Noon, and Sunday’s 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. We encourage you to bring your dog in early in the day, this way they can adapt quickly to their surrounding and enjoy a full day of fun in our daycare.

2. What do I bring for my dog during their stay?

   You will want to bring enough food for your dog’s stay with us. Also, you can bring treats if this is a normal part of their diet. Additionally, you may bring a bed, blanket or small crate from home to ensure the comfort of your pet.

3. What do you provide for my dog while they stay?

   We are able to provide blankets or cots if you prefer not to bring items from home. Also, we will provide bowls and durable toys for the dogs to share in our daycare. Additionally, we have food that we are able to provide for a fee.

1. Why is eddieandbarkus different from other boarding and daycare facilities?

   With state-of-the-art facilities and an experienced staff consisting of pre-vets and vet techs, we will do everything we can to make your dog’s stay with us safe and enjoyable. Our overnight accommodations are quiet, clean, and comfortable with surround sound music provided. It is our commitment to keep your dog happy, safe and comfortable while at eddieandbarkus.

2. Do you walk the dogs?

   Yes, for a fee we offer 20 minute private walks with a trained staff member, giving your dog one on one private time.

3. Do you have naptime?

   Yes, every dog needs a nap. We schedule nap time from 11-1 everyday to keep our guests healthy and rested.

4. Is this environment safe for all sizes of dogs?

   Yes, each dog is placed with a playgroup based on size and temperament, and supervised by our pre-vet and vet tech staff. This ensures each guest’s comfort and safety!
